Questions & Answers
Everything guests usually ask — and if your question isn't here, just reach out to us.
When should I RSVP by?
Please reply by 21 October 2026 through the RSVP page — it takes less than a minute, and it helps us plan your seat and your plate.
What should I wear?
For the poruwa ceremony: Sri Lankan elegant — sarees, osariya, or smart traditional wear are warmly encouraged. For the evening: cocktail attire, jewel tones welcome. Please leave white and cream for the couple. Parts of the celebration are outdoors on garden lawns, so choose comfortable shoes.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely — little ones are part of the family! Please include them in your guest count when you RSVP so we can seat everyone comfortably.
What about gifts?
Your presence — many of you travelling far — is truly the greatest gift. Should you wish to give something more, a contribution box will be available at the reception. Please, no boxed gifts — suitcases home are heavy enough!
What's the weather like in December?
Kalutara in December is warm and tropical — around 27–30°C in the day, pleasantly balmy in the evening. A brief shower is always possible, but the celebration is prepared for it. Light fabrics are your friend.
How do I get there, and where do I park?
The resort is about 1.5–2 hours from Colombo airport via the Southern Expressway (exit Dodangoda). Parking is available at the resort, and taxis and PickMe/Uber operate throughout the area. More details on the Location page.
Can I share the photos I take?
Yes, please! Upload your favourite moments to our Photo Wall — they appear right on this website for everyone to enjoy, and they become part of our memory of the day.
How do I find my seat at the reception?
Type your name on the Find Your Seat page — your table number will appear closer to the big day.
